WP1:
Use cases description & requirements

WP1 focuses on the description of the use cases and analysis of requirements. First the use cases: Connected & Autonomous lightweight logistics for in-factor/out-factory supply chain (UC1), People and machine position awareness in production or logistics area (UC2), Application of maps in public safety case (UC 3 ) Critical energy distribution (UC 4), Security and location awareness of persons (UC 5) , Multirouting secure awareness system for hunting and outdoors (UC 7), Operations Control System (OCC) for drone (UC 8) and Management of cyber physical assets (UC 9) are described. After that the requirements of the use cases are analysed both technological and value chains perspectives. Requirements will be defined for individual UCs and some of them will be transversal to all UCs. The objective is to create solid basis for the works towards development of the Sa4CPS concept in WP2, and technological solutions in the WP3-5, as well as create basis for the project demonstrations (WP6) storyline.

WP2.
Sa4CPS concept architecture

WP2 focuses on the R&D of the Sa4CPS conceptual architectural level R&D, interaction between technical WPs 3-5, UCs 1-9, and evaluation of results in architectural level. First, the WP focuses to identification of the requirements related to the Sa4CPS architectural concept in interaction with the WP1 and UCs 1-9. Then, architectural level analysis of technological state of the art/practise will be carried out together with preliminary drafting of the technical architectural scope. The technical architectural scope will be divided to areas covered by each technological WP3-5, and preliminary analysing the potential contribution areas of UCs 1-9 for the concept. The objective is to combine the key technological enablers developed within WP3-5, and UCs 1-9 to establish a harmonized description of the Sa4CPS concept. In parallel, the Sa4CPS conceptual architecture will be studied by means of simulations. The target is to produce such Sa4CPS concept description and publication, which combine also the main evaluation results of related to the key enablers developed within WP3-5 and UC1-9.

WP3.
Perception & Comprehension

WP3 focuses on the R&D of the technical enablers for perception and comprehension to establish reasoning and understanding of the current situation. It is estimated that information sources can be e.g. sensing the environment using sensors, cameras, available radios etc. Interaction between neighbouring computer equipped nodes and service systems in back office/clouds. Smart information processing, sensor fusions, and use of AI/machine learning systems are needed for comprehension of the situation. Expected results: Technological requirements for perception and comprehension. Technical enablers for perception and comprehension required in the Sa4CPS concept. Evaluation of the developed enablers for perception and comprehension. Building up physical sensor system consisting of various sensor technology where new data acquisition and data processing mechanisms will be validated and ready for object detection and tracking to be performed in WP4.

WP4.
Status, Projections & Actions

WP4 focuses on the R&D of the technical enablers for management and showing the current situation, establishing views what may be happening in future, reasoning and execution of the actions for keeping the situation in control. This includes aspects of digital twins, dashboards, tracking of objects, autonomous operations, detection of unexpected events, emergencies, risk for collisions, detection of situation and reasoning of the responses required, capabilities for keeping overlapping views clear for the users by means of 3D maps and tools etc. Expected results: Technological requirements for status, projections and actions. Technical enablers for status, projections and actions required in the Sa4CPS concept. Evaluation of the developed enablers for status, projections and actions.

WP5.
Trust, security & privacy for resilience

WP5 starts by analysing the risks, challenges and technical requirements for trust, security and privacy in the UCs. And then primarily focuses to R&D of the technical enablers for digital trust, security and privacy for increasing reliability of the situational awareness for the devices, people and digital twins. This includes aspects of identification of objects, owners & stakeholders, verification, access control, secure information spaces, sharing and overlayed routing, zero trust services and applications with distributed ledger technologies (DLT), and sensing security situation. Work package 5 analyzes digital trust, security and privacy risks, challenges and technical requirements in use cases. In addition, a digital one is made trust, security and privacy technical enablers research and development in order to grow reliability of situational awareness. Expected results: Technological requirements for trust, security and privacy for situational awareness. Technical enablers for trust, security and privacy required in the Sa4CPS concept. Evaluation of the developed enablers for trust, security and privacy .

WP6.
Experiments and validation

WP6 focuses on the development of the experimental systems and demonstrations for validation of the Sa4CPs concept and its key enablers. It is assumed that the basis of the development is defined in the WP1-2, and the solutions to be evaluated are mainly developed in the context of the WPs 3-5, which means that this WP requires interactions with all of them in use cases level. The work starts by focusing on UC/technology demonstrations during the 1st iteration of the project. In the 2nd iteration the focus is on UC demonstrations and showing selected items of technical enablers in operation. The final iteration focuses for evaluating the Sa4CPs concept according to the UC roles in pilot environment(s) with sensible level of integration. Expected results: UC/technology demonstrations, UC demonstrations, and final demonstrations for showing the key enablers of the SA4CPs concept in operation. .

WP7.
Dissemination, Exploitation and Leadership

WP7 focuses on the dissemination, exploitation and leadership of the project. This includes e.g. the following aspects: publications and presentations of results in academic, industrial and customer forums, exploitation of achieved results for increasing revenues of partners in various ways, all the activities required in administrative and technical leadership of the project in national and Sa4CPs consortia level. Expected results: Publications and presentations, exploitation related achievements, overall progress (meetings etc.) and achieving the project results both in technical and administrative sense together with the consortium. .
