Sa4CPS aims to develop a secure situation awareness concept for critical cyber-physical systems in the logistics, mobility, energy and security sectors, particularly in ports. The targeted innovation will arise from the application of novel solutions for situational awareness with a digital zero-trust approach with distributed ledger technologies (DLT). The aim is to enable situation-aware IoT, operating in a smart way with AI, and DLT for enabling shared digital trust for multiple stakeholders.

The Sa4CPS concept is expected to improve the resiliency, security, privacy and safety of people, autonomous physical objects and company digital twins during unexpected events such as accidents and physical or virtual attacks.

The Portuguese consortium consists of a company (Digitalmente, Novas Tecnologias de Comunicação LDA) and an entity of the I&I System (ISEP - Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto).

Gecad_

GECAD - ISEP is a Research Unit having as mission the development of scientific research and innovation for the incorporation of Intelligence in Engineering and Computing Complex Systems. Intelligent Energy Systems is the International and National reference of Excellence of GECAD, namely in areas like Smart Grids, Electricity Markets, Distributed Resources, Demand Response, Energy Efficiency and Intelligent Buildings.

With more than a decade of existence, DIGITALMENTE is a technological company specialized in the design and development of software and hardware solutions, aiming at new applications and new business processes.Currently, the company's R&D strategy is guided by three vectors:

  1. Development of its own technology;
  2. Development of internal skills, by strengthening the R&D team and by approaching the scientific and technological environment, deepening partnerships and projects that are already underway and developing new ones;

The Cooperativa Eléctrica de Loureiro operates in the national market since 1934, more specifically in Loureiro, Oliveira de Azeméis in the district of Aveiro, and its scope of activity is Distribution Network Operator (ORDBT), Commercialization and Maintenance of the Electricity Network.
CEL has established strategic partnerships with leading partners from the scientific community and the business world, aiming at its growth and positioning in new areas and market activities, without neglecting the human and social aspects, which underlie its genesis
